Bihar MVI Eligibility 2025
Candidates must fulfill the age and educational qualifications as set by the Bihar Public Service Commission. If you don’t, you will not be disqualified at any stage of the selection process.
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have passed the 10th class (Matric) from a recognized board.
- Must have a 3-year Diploma in either:
- Automobile Engineering, or
- Mechanical Engineering (recognized by the Central or State Government)
- Must have a valid driving license for both geared motor vehicles and light motor vehicles.
Important Notes:
Diplomas in any subject other than Automobile or Mechanical Engineering are not valid for this post.
A learner’s license will not be accepted.
You must provide a certificate proving that your diploma college/institute is recognized by the Central or State Government.

The recruitment process is conducted in two stages:
- Written Examination
- Consists of three papers (detailed below).
