All those government job aspirants who are eagerly waiting for the SSC CHSL recruitment of 2025, here is the good news. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the SSC CHSL recruitment notification for the year 2025 on 23rd June 2025 on its official website @ssc.gov.in. Through it’s official notification, SSC has confirmed the recruitment for the vacancy of 3131 Posts in different departments.

The application process has already begun on 23rd June itself. And candidates can apply online until the last date, 18th July 2025. All the information related to the SSC CHSL 2025 Recruitment is given below.

SSC CHSL Notification 2025 Out

A short notice was released through the employment newspaper notifying that the detailed SSC CHSL Notification 2025 will be released on official website soon. As per that on 23rd June 2025 by late evening on www.ssc.gov.in, recruitment notification was released. And this time hiring is for different posts  like – Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) and Data Entry Operator(DEO).

  • If the candidates face any issues during the application process or any problem is the form filled, they can call on the toll free number for the clarifications and complaints – 18003093063.
  • Application fees for SSC CHSL for General category is Rs. 100/-. And there is no fees for the female candidates, SC, ST, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen candidates.
  • The age limit for the SSC CHSL posts is 18-27 years. Candidates born not before 02-08-1998 and not later than 01-08-2007 are eligible to apply. And there is permissible relaxation in the upper age limit for different categories which is mentioned in detail in official notification.

SSC CHSL 2025 Educational Qualification

For LDC/JSA and DEO/DEO Grade ‘A’ (except DEOs in Department/ Ministry): The candidates who are planning to appear in the CHSL 2025 exam must have passed the 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.

For Data Entry Operator (DEO)/ DEO Grade ‘A’ in Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution and Ministry of Culture): 12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.

    Detailed notification is linked in above table, and official application form link is given, through which candidates can easily apply following the on-screen instructions. 

    There is slight change the application form, while uploading the candidate’s picture for the application. Now instead of uploading the picture, SSC is taking live picture of the candidates through webcams. So make sure to maintain formal attire while filling the application form.

    SSC CHSL Selection Process 2025

    The selection process for the SSC CHSL 2025 consists of two main stages: Tier I and Tier II exams.

    1. Tier 1 – Computer-Based Test (CBT): Objective Multiple-Choice Questions, Online Mode, Qualifying in nature.
    2. Tier 2 – Computer-Based Test (CBT) + Skill Test: Objective Questions + Skill & Typing Test, Three sections with two modules each, Online Mode, Merit-based.
    3. Document Verification & Medical Examination: Candidates shortlisted after Tier 2 must complete Document Verification (DV) and a Medical Examination for final selection.
